The Weightless Project Mission

Helping others find freedom from the weight of the world through building positive, supportive communities.

Julie Alsaker

Time to get personal.  Yes, I have a passion for fitness and health and it has been a wonderful obsession to compliment my career as a medical ASL interpreter.  But we are all more than just our jobs, right?  So here are some things to know about me:

  1. I believe in God.  I follow Jesus.  I live my life based on these two things and have wonderful hope in hard times and wonderful purpose in the good times.
  2. My husband and I lived the American dream (nice house/stuff) and decided it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.  Now, we have moved towards minimalism/essentialism and have the most amazing adventures.  I highly recommend it.
  3. I strongly dislike premade meal plans.  They always have at least one or two meals I find disgusting.  I’ve never seen one work long-term.  This is why I teach my clients to make their own, instead of pushing my preferred tastes on others.
  4. I love the look on my client’s faces when they find acceptance and believe they are valuable for the first time.  It is why I do what I do.
